Regulated estate planning
Our mission is to change the misconception that estate planning is for “old people” or is only for those with lots of money. We believe in protecting those you care about, no matter your age or circumstances. Whether you are writing a will to protect your children, putting a Lasting Power of Attorney in place, or need help administering a probate estate, we are here to help.
Our vision is to leave our clients feeling protected and reassured. To continue to help our clients as they move through their lives and to leave the world a better place than we found it.
We saw we were using a lot of paper, so we decided to do something about it.
Our Work So Far
We’ve helped thousands of people with all aspects of wills, probate cases, trusts and probate property sales.
We nominate a partner charity to donate 10% of our WillPlan™ profits to each year.
We’ve also raised over £5m in gifts in wills to local and national charities and continue to support valuable causes through our work.
What Makes Us Different
The traditional model of drafting documents and then never speaking to a client again is broken. We reach out to our clients regularly to see if anything has changed and if they need to re-assess their documents. This means wills are kept up-to-date and estates are protected as much as possible.
We established Southeast Legacies after Pete was diagnosed with cancer at a very early age and it made us realise how important it is to protect those you care about. We are pleased to say he has made a full recovery and continues to drive Southeast Legacies forward.
As fathers to young children and with parents enjoying their retirement, we appreciate the different stages of life and the importance of putting the right legal documents in place.
With many years of experience in heir hunting and bringing empty properties back to use, I have seen first-hand the true costs of not having a valid will and the problems of probate disputes from DIY or missing wills. I enjoy meeting generations of the same family knowing we have protected what people have worked hard for.
When not working on the business, I can be found enjoying time with my family, skydiving or seeking out new restaurants.
I come from a technology and telecoms background, applying these skills to the business and keeping us at the forefront of new developments and innovation. I am an avid motorcyclist and can regularly be seen out on my bike.
Together with our fantastic team, we have helped thousands of people secure their future.
We look forward to helping you soon.
“I needed a will prepared quickly and ahead of surgery to put my mind at rest. Anthony and Peter arranged an appointment for me to discuss on that same day and showed a real understanding and commitment to complete quickly. Anthony was extremely professional, friendly and explained everything clearly to me on a call. He would have come to the house to discuss face to face but as I was self-isolating we had a call instead which worked well. After a quick turnaround preparing the will, Peter then dropped it personally into my house which I really appreciate. I have been blown away by the service and care provided by Peter and Anthony and I would definitely recommend them. I also found the price to be extremely reasonable especially for the excellent service provided.”
